Year 5 pupil Konah Gange attended an awards ceremony at London's City Hall for his music scholarship with Greenwich Music Hub. Not only did he get to receive a certificate for his hard work, but he also performed in front of and met Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London.
At the end of last year, Miss Wilson nominated Plumcroft's Konah Gange for a music scholarship programme. Konah was then selected by the Greenwich Music Hub for the 4 year scholarship programme. On 29th September, all the scholars, parents and teachers were invited to City Hall for the scholars to be awarded their certificate for the programme and to perform together for Boris Johnson and assorted other special guests. It was a fantastic day with an amazing performance from special guest saxophonist Yolanda Brown.
