Mr Joe teaches Drum Kit/Percussion and says it is a true joy to teach the diverse range of students that attend his lessons at Plumcroft. Mr Joe is proud of the efforts and proactive approach that Plumcroft gives, so everyone gets the opportunity to play the Drums. His lessons are about making noise and providing the children with an enjoyable, comfortable and fun environment to be a part of.

Mr Ben teaches Keyboard and Drums/Percussion. He loves teaching as it means he can pass on his musical knowledge to the young eager minds of the next generation. His musical journey started aged 6, when he listened to music his parents played and he hopes to pass on the passion for music to as many students as possible. He is also an accomplished Jazz Saxophonist.

Miss Caz teaches Keyboard and Ukulele and finds music is an amazing subject to teach as it draws people together and builds community. She likes the way children come alive and express themselves in their music lessons with her.

Mr DJ is a Jazz trumpeter in his last year at Trinity Laban. He also plays Guitar and Jazz Piano. He says as a child all he wanted to do was play music so he enjoys teaching. He likes to encourage children to learn an instrument they love, as that joy will be with them throughout their lives.

Mr Danny is an Irish Clarinet and Saxophone player. He teaches all Woodwind instruments here at Plumcroft. He is the Woodwind Mentor on the Music Masters/Birmingham City PGCEi course.

Mr James is a multi-instrumentalist, who plays Recorder, Keyboard, Ukulele, Guitar, Bass, Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone. He strives off the enthusiasm and progression he sees from the students, as well as the excitement they get when they are able to explore something new or achieve something they have worked on for a long time. Inspiring the younger generation is incredibly important to Mr James and his wish is that they continue to play and love music as they grow and progress in their own world!
